Purchase a lot in the newly released Apple Gum estate, Lara or Wattle Grove estate, Corio and install solar panels (minimum 5KW solar system) within three months of construction being completed, and you could be eligible for a $1,000 solar panel rebate*.

Once installation is completed in accordance with the contract of sale, you simply submit a rebate form to receive the $1,000 solar rebate.

Bisinella Developments has recently had a 32KW solar panel system with Australian Made Inverter installed on the roof of the Lara head office.

Bisinella Director Richard Bisinella said he was pleased to be able to offer the solar rebate to purchasers of land in Apple Gum and Wattle Grove.

“Installing solar panels can help homeowners reduce their energy consumption which has a positive impact on the environment, but it can also help them save money on their power bills,” he said.

Viral Rathod from solar installation company Go Solar Go Green said “Australia was leading the world in the rate of solar installation per capita”.

Latest statistics from the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) shows that the number of solar panel installations by postcode around Australia had surpassed 2.2 million.

"Victoria is one of the fortunate states where local Government offers a solar rebate. From 1 July homeowners can be eligible for $1850** from the Victorian Government for solar panel installation,” he said.

Mr Rathod said a 6.5KW solar system for an average size house could cost homeowners less than $3000 after all the rebates.

With the Government rebate, an average household can save more than 80 per cent off their power bill and in about three years have paid off the cost to install the solar panels. This time could be reduced even further with the help of the Bisinella solar rebate.

According to Solar Victoria, a typical household can save up to $890 per year on their energy bills if they have solar panels installed.

Mr Rathod applauded the initiative which he said showed environmental awareness. He said his company was available to help guide people through the process of getting solar panels if they wanted to take advantage of the Bisinella solar rebate.
