Lara Lakes Estate approved, construction starting soon

Bisinella Developments is delighted to announce plans for Lara Lakes Estate have been approved – with construction of Stage One due to start within days.

Engineering approvals were obtained on Friday, 23 July from the City of Greater Geelong, allowing work on the first stage of the estate to begin.

Bisinella has just awarded the tender for Lara Lakes Estate to Wellam Constructions. They are due to commence work within the next few days and customers will be advised as soon as they are on site.

Construction of Stage One is expected to be completed in March 2022, with Stage Two finalised in June 2022.

Bisinella Director, Richard Bisinella said it was wonderful news the approvals had been received and construction could now get underway.

Engineering plans were originally submitted to Council 12 months ago, with approvals taking longer than hoped. Bisinella has been working closely with senior management at the Council to finalise the process.

 “We would like to thank the City of Greater Geelong’s Executive Team for their efforts to facilitate these approvals, and our customers for their patience,” Mr Bisinella said.

“This is wonderful news and we look forward to updating our customers as soon as constructions starts.”

The latest announcement follows the release of land in Stage 3A of Lara Lakes Estate. There are 29 lots for sale in Stage 3A, ranging in size from 401m2 to 673m2. Land is from $298,000.

Construction of Stage 3A is expected to commence around late 2021, with titles due around September 2022.

Modelled on the national-award winning Grand Lakes Estate, Lara Lakes Estate will include 6.7ha of open space, including wetlands, extensive walking trials and two playgrounds. There will also be land set aside for a future primary school and community centre.

Lara Lakes Estate will also feature 75 lake/park frontage lots. Land in the estate will range from 350m2 to 750m2.

The new estate is located in the area known as the Lara West Development Precinct which is situated on the south west side of the corner of Windermere Road and O’Hallorans Road, Lara.

Bisinella is offering a $1000 solar rebate (conditions apply) to Lara Lakes Estate buyers who install solar panels within three months of construction.

A lot in Stage 3A of Lara Lakes Estate can be put on hold for 7 days, after which only a 5% deposit is required to finalise a purchase.
