Bisinella Developments is pleased to announce the opening of a new reserve and accessible park within Stage 8 of Lara Lakes Estate.

With Stage 8 and 10 lots titled and settled, work has since been focused on delivering the reserve, which is now open for residents and the broader community to enjoy.

Located within the established Lara Lakes neighbourhood, the new reserve has been carefully designed to enhance everyday living by providing an inclusive, family-friendly space for recreation, connection and relaxation.

Designed in collaboration with Mexted Rimmer Landscape Architects, the reserve and accessible park will support both active and passive use, ensuring people of all ages and abilities can enjoy the space.

Spanning approximately 100 by 70 metres, the reserve includes expansive open areas for informal activities such as ball games, along with more intimate spaces for exploration and quieter play. A network of graded pathways connects the reserve to surrounding homes, as well as nearby schools and community facilities, improving accessibility throughout the area.

The play space includes a range of inclusive equipment, including a special needs swing, nest swing, tipi carousel and accessible play unit, encouraging children of all abilities to play together.

Extensive tree planting will create shaded, tree-lined areas, complemented by a central shelter and seating zones for gatherings and supervision. A unique microforest grove has also been introduced, contributing to shade, cooling and a nature-based play experience. Gently sloping grassed mounds add visual interest and create a sense of enclosure throughout the park.

Bisinella Managing Director Richard Bisinella said the new reserve reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering thoughtful, inclusive community spaces.

“This new reserve has been designed to create a space where people can come together, stay active and enjoy the outdoors, regardless of age or ability,” Richard said.

“We are committed to creating communities that are genuinely inclusive, and this park is a strong example of that, providing accessible pathways and play equipment that helps ensure everyone can participate and feel welcome.”

The new reserve further strengthens Lara Lakes Estate’s reputation as a connected, family-friendly community, offering residents access to quality open space alongside established amenities and infrastructure.

“We look forward to seeing the community enjoy and bring this space to life,” Richard Bisinella said.
