Lara Lakes Estate, a 500-lot residential estate, due to be released later this year, will offer residents the benefits of a country lifestyle with all of the comforts of city living.
The estate will be located in the area known as the Lara West Development Precinct which is situated on the south west side of the corner of Windermere Road and O’Hallorans Road, Lara.
Land in Lara Lakes Estate is due to be released for pre-sale late 2018.
Lara Lakes Estate features will include:
• Approximately 500 lots - including 70 lake/ park frontage lots
• Approximately 10 hectares of parkland
• Land set aside for the Department of Education
Lara is now home to more than 16,000 people but still retains its rural feel with a strong sense of community, good infrastructure and access to the highway and train route which makes it an ideal place to commute to either Geelong (20 minute drive) or Melbourne (50 minute drive).
Lara Lakes Estate will be similar in design to Bisinella Developments’ award-winning Grand Lakes Estate which was finished in 2015.
The largest estate developed to date in Lara, it was constructed over a period of eight to 10 years and includes about 800 lots.
Grand Lakes Estate set a high standard for development in Lara and includes parklands, the lakes, boardwalks, a community centre, a café, barbecue areas and playgrounds.
In 2015, Grand Lakes Estate won the UDIA award (Urban Development Institute of Australia) for the best residential estate in Victoria, a first for anywhere in the Geelong region, let alone Lara. The estate was also regarded as a showcase for environmental excellence in Australia by winning the state and then the national UDIA Award for Environmental Excellence in 2016.
